Many residents have received a notification from AquaTrax about a potential water leak. Please know these notifications are NOT a scam. The alerts are to inform residents when they have continuous water usage and to prevent waste and high costs.
Culinary Water (water inside the house): Residents will receive a leak alert if there is continuous water usage of at least 5 gallons per hour for 24 consecutive hours. If you receive a culinary leak alert, please check all inside water appliances for leaks before contacting the city.
Pressurized Irrigation (sprinklers): Residents will receive a leak alert if there is continuous water usage of at least 1 gallon per hour for 24 consecutive hours. If you receive a pressurized irrigation alert, please contact the city at 801-785-9668 x200.
