CEDAR HILLS GOLF TO REOPEN MARCH 9 AS COURSE IMPROVEMENTS CONTINUE

[Cedar Hills, UTAH] Cedar Hills Golf will reopen for the 2026 golf season on March 9, welcoming golfers back while significant course improvements are underway.

At the start of the season, nine holes will be available for play, along with the Short Course, which will remain open throughout the entire season. Full 18-hole play is expected to be available during July and August. Additional course renovations will continue later in the year to support long-term improvements to playing conditions.

The current work includes installation of a new, more efficient irrigation system, rebuilding tee boxes, and improving turf conditions.

“These improvements will deliver a better playing experience for golfers of all skill levels. We appreciate your patience during these improvements and look forward to welcoming you back for a fantastic season at Cedar Hills Golf Club!” Cedar Hills Golf Club Staff

City officials emphasized that the improvements represent a significant investment in the future of the course.

“The City of Cedar Hills is pleased to share that upgrades are underway at the Cedar Hills Golf Club. Once complete, the new irrigation system and course improvements will deliver a noticeably better experience on the links.” Chandler Goodwin, Cedar Hills City Manager

The Short Course will remain open all season, offering golfers a fast, flexible option for casual rounds and group play with up to six players. In addition to on-course play, Cedar Hills Golf Course will continue to offer a variety of amenities and programs throughout the season, including youth development opportunities through junior clinics, and community gatherings and events hosted in the Vista Room. Additional updates and tee time availability can be found through Cedar Hills Golf.
