Monthly Mayors Message

Every month for over three years now, I have written a message that I hope is inspiring and uplifting in some way. This month is going to be a bit different. My message this month is simply a plea for the residents of Cedar Hills to please get City-related information directly from City sources, and not from the “word on the street” or non-City sponsored social media posts.

The City of Cedar Hills has many resources to get accurate information about what’s going on in the City to its residents. It’s just as fast and easy to go to one of these than to go elsewhere. If you are not aware of where to look for City-posted information, then you have come to the right place! This newsletter is one source of information. Here are the others:

  • The new City app! Look in any app store for Cedar Hills, Utah and download the new app that has frequent updates, links to calendars, documents, etc.
  • Facebook - Cedar Hills, Utah
  • Instagram - @cedarhillsutah & @cedarhillsrec
  • The website - cedarhills.org
  • Call the City office directly – 801-785-9668
  • Email the City at frontdesk@cedarhills.org
  • Ask your elected officials – directory on the website

We live in a world of misinformation and speculation, and if the correct information is out there and easily available, let’s get it from those sources. Like James Daly said, “You can’t be distracted by the noise of misinformation.” Have a great and accurately informed day!
