Revised Event Center Resident Rates

After receiving feedback from residents on use of the Community Center, the City Council discussed revising rates in order to make rental of the Vista Room and other rooms in the Community Center affordable for all Cedar Hills residents. Last month the Council voted to change the resident rate on Mondays and Tuesdays to $20 per hour. This is a substantial savings from the usual weekday resident rate of $1350 for the Vista Room. One of the Council’s goals for this year was to increase resident usage of the Community Center, and we feel this reduced rate will allow more residents to schedule the rooms for parties, events, and gatherings.
