Class 1: Snapology Robotics Favorites
Dates: March: 8, 15, 22, 29-April 12,19
Time: 4:30 – 5:30
Description: Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Students will learn the fundamentals of programming as they use tablets and pseudo coding to program their robotic models and sensors to perform various activities. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time.
Class 2: Attackbots Robotics
Time: 5:30 – 6:30
Description: In this exciting class, students will build a variety of military-inspired robotic models. Children will learn about sensors, gears, pulleys, and programming as they create robotic catapults, crossbows, battleships and much more! This program is from Snapology’s robotics variety. Students will build the models with instructions, and then use a tablet and block-coding application to program the robot’s motor and sensors to perform tasks. Students will be introduced to programming principles of loops, triggers, inputs, outputs and more!
