City seeks committee for recreation, parks, trails
On March 16, 2010, the City Council dissolved the Parks and Trails Committee and created an ad-hoc citizen advisory committee to oversee recreation, parks, and trails within the City. The purpose of the new committee is to promote, evaluate, and solicit recreation, parks, and trails developments and activities. The committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Council and will hold regular meetings. The committee chair, vice chair, and members will be appointed by the Mayor and will serve without monetary compensation. If you would like to be considered for service, please notify the City in person, or email your name, address, and contact information, along with a brief statement of your desire to serve and/or qualifications, to the City’s Front Desk (frontdesk@cedarhills.org).
