Town Hall Meeting: Emergency Preparation

The second annual Emergency Management Town Hall Meeting will be held on Thurs., Feb. 13, at 7:00 p.m. in the Cedar Hills Community Recreation Center, 10640 N Clubhouse Drive. The following items will be presented:
Peter Quittner, Utah Valley Emergency Manager, will present information from FEMA and other National resources.
Local fire and police representatives will be available to answer questions.
Latest personal and community preparedness information: Local emergency plans, emergency communications, free “Be Ready” pamphlets, and more.
We would like to invite a representative from every household in the City to attend this meeting. This is a great way to be involved in the community, while preparing your own household.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Cedar Hills City Council and Executive Staff will hold a Budget Workshop Retreat on Saturday, January 18, 2014, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lone Peak Public Safety Building, Highland Fire Station, 5582 Parkway West, Highland, Utah. The purpose of the retreat will be budget planning, visioning, and goal setting. This is an open meeting and anyone is invited to attend; however, comments from the public will not be taken. The attached agenda order is subject to change, and times are approximate.
Impact Fee Meeting

The City of Cedar Hills is committed to establishing fees that are fair and accurate, and that reflect the true costs that new development places on these facilities. We consider residents a valued stakeholder and would greatly appreciate their input and participation in this process. Therefore, we have scheduled a public meeting to be held at the Community Recreation Center for the purpose of giving an overview of the impact fee process, providing residents an opportunity to meet with our consultants and the city, and provide feedback. Our consultants on this project are Zions Bank Public Finance and Bowen Collins & Associates.
