CEDAR HILLS – During their June 20th meeting, the City Council appointed Denise Andersen to fill the vacancy left after the resignation of Rob Crawley. This term will be completed at the end of the year. While six candidates applied for the vacancy, only four were available for interviews. After a series of questions, a final vote lead to the appointment of Mrs. Andersen. She was then sworn in to office by city recorder, Colleen Mulvey.

Denise has lived in Cedar Hills for 25 years and previously served as the chair of the Beautification Committee. She is also a 2017 candidate for a four-year term on the City Council.
