CEDAR HILLS, UTAH – During the March 7, 2017, City Council meeting, Mayor Gary Gygi recommended the appointment of Chandler Goodwin as city manager for the City of Cedar Hills. The recommendation was then unanimously approved by the City Council.

Mr. Goodwin has worked for Cedar Hills since 2010 in a variety of capacities, most recently as the assistant city manager, and has played a significant role in the growth and development of Cedar Hills. He has served as the interim city manager since January 2017 and has been instrumental in the transition that has taken place. The Mayor and Council expressed their appreciation for his hard work for the community and for his desire to serve the residents of Cedar Hills.

“We want to thank everyone who submitted applications,” stated Mayor Gygi. “We are pleased that such qualified people showed an interest in Cedar Hills, and we feel the process allowed us to select the most qualified person.”

“I am honored to have been selected to serve as city manager for Cedar Hills,” said Chandler Goodwin. “I love the residents of this community and have enjoyed working with many throughout the city. I look forward to continuing to work with staff, officials, and residents in promoting the vision and goals we have for our city.”
