July 11, 2014

July 11, 2014 – Light thunder showers have reduced temperatures for the last part of the week, allowing a reduction in irrigation need. However, temperatures are expected to climb into the triple digits by Tuesday of next week.

Lower Zone Pressure Restored: During the past week, the lower pressurized irrigation zone  experienced low flow and pressures due to a valve malfunction and isolated restrictions in the mainline. The issues appear to be corrected at this time, and no further pressure drops are expected. Please contact the city if you experience additional pressure or flow reductions.

Low Pressure? Check Your Filter: Due to the surging of mainlines to clear restrictions, residents are encouraged to clean individual irrigation system filters in the coming week to ensure debris is not restricting flow for residential connections. Please contact the city for tips on how to properly locate and clean your individual filter.
