The Sunshine Review is a non-profit organization that hosts a website where citizens can learn whether their state, city, county, and school district are meeting basic transparency standards. As part of those efforts, the Sunshine Review created a checklist with items that all levels of government should post on their websites to meet a basic standard of transparency. The items were chosen based on a survey of organizations that advocate for open, transparent government. These items are linked below to quickly find the information on our website:

  1. City Budget
  2. City Council Agendas & Minutes and Public Notices
  3. Elected Officials
  4. Open and Public Meetings Training
  5. City Administrators
  6. Building Permits
  7. Financial Audits
  8. Contracts, Bids, Requests
  9. Lobbying Organizations
  10. Public Records GRAMA
  11. Taxes & Fees
  12. Utah Public Notice Website

In addition, since Cedar Hills is committed to transparency, the city has uploaded financial data to the Utah Public Finance website, transparent.utah.gov.
