Christmas Tree Recycling

During the first week of January, the City provides recycling for Christmas trees ONLY at various locations. Please ensure that all lights, garland, tinsel, stands, spikes, plastic, and any other type of attachments be removed from the trees. Flocked trees must not be taken to any of these locations as they are NOT recyclable. No other waste, garbage, or commercial dumping is acceptable. Mixed loads of trees and garbage cannot be recycled and are taken to the dump, which significantly increases the cost to the City. Residents are responsible to get the trees to the designated recycling locations within the City, as curbside pickup is not available.
