Family Festival 2018 has finally arrived! The Family Festival Committee has been hard at work for several months to plan a variety of activities for the entire week, including several new events, such as the Teen Swim Party, the Amazing Race, U-Jam, YCC Park in the Dark, Pickleball Tournament, and the Outdoor Adventure Zone.

This is my favorite week in Cedar Hills, as I love seeing friends, family, and neighbors gather together at the various events. Cedar Hills is a wonderful community, and Family Festival is one of the things that contributes to that hometown feel we love about living here. I want to thank everyone who serves on the Family Festival committee. The week consists of months of behind-the-scenes planning by volunteers and city staff. Through their hard work and dedication, Family Festival has grown and offers more activities every year, in order to have something for everyone in our community to enjoy.

I also want to thank the many volunteers who serve during the week to make sure every event runs smoothly. We can’t do this without volunteers, and we appreciate their willingness to serve. Family Festival runs June 4 through 9. Find the schedule of events at cedarhills.org/festival. I hope you and your family enjoy the many events planned for the week and I look forward to seeing you as we kick off summer in Cedar Hills!
