1.         This meeting of the Parks and Trails Committee of the City of Cedar Hills, having been posted throughout the City and the press notified, was called to order by Shelly Pitts at 7:07 p.m.

2.         Approval of Minutes from the May 19, 2005, Meeting

MOTION: Jon Woozley - To approve the minutes from the May 19, 2005, meeting. Seconded by Shelly Pitts.

3.         Eagle Projects

            •          Trail Markers - Carson James will get started on the trail markers in 7-10 days. Shelly Pitts explained that Safety Sign and Supply already has the City’s logo and the decal needs to be 3" x 3".

            •          Another eagle scout wants to install a flag at Heiselt’s Hollow Park.

4.         Yard of the Month

The Committee will meet on Thursday, August 25 at 8:00 p.m. for Yard of the Month. Dave Told will be out of town.

5.         Park Equipment

            •          LeDoux Park - Three bids are needed for the playground equipment.

            •          Cedar Run Retention Basin Park -

            •          Other - Preliminary “what if” on transferring of park into driving range.

6.         Canyon Heights Park

Jon Woozley introduced Lars Anderson. NRPA guidelines for neighborhood park. Drop concept off to Konrad prior to September 15, next meeting. Newsletter - September 22 at 6:00 p.m. will be a neighborhood meeting. Contact All American Development.

7.         Bonneville Shoreline Trail

Discussion on trails and available trails and grants. Discussion on Trails - Alpine Trails - Troy Duffin.

                        •          Jon Woozley - Design Staker/Geneva project.

                        •          Dave Told - Talk with Pleasant Grove about the Bonneville Shoreline Trail connection.
