3. Eagle Projects Reports
A. Frisbee Golf Completion & Sign - The scout has installed the posts at Heritage Park. The City has sent the verbiage for the sign to the sign company and should have the new sign put up before the next meeting.
B. Doral Drive Park & Vandalism - The scout worked with a local nursery to get donated trees and shrubs for the park. These were installed and all vandalized the same day. One vandal pulled out one tree. The other tree was pulled down. Both trees were planted again in hopes of survival. After the concrete was poured, the vandals also carved names into the concrete. Action Needed - Ciara Decker will ask public works if the cement can be ground down to remove the names.
Regarding City purchasing a table and bench: Action Needed - Stephanie Martinez will talk to Konrad Hildebrandt, City Manager, to make sure the City is only ordering one bench and one table. Ciara Decker noted that all City-funded agreements are to be memo’d to her to give to Konrad Hildebrandt.

9. Review/Discuss Miscellaneous Concerns
A. The Committee believes they should have a section in the newsletter each month highlighting projects, watching for vandalism, and recognizing eagle scouts for completing their projects throughout the City. Action Needed - Ciara Decker to ask public works what verbiage should go in the newsletter for residents to watch for vandalism. She will talk to Gretchen Gordon to get information in the newsletter.
B. Peter Karp proposed an ‘Adopt a park’ program where residents take ownership of parks to protect from vandalism. Put this on the next meeting’s agenda.
C. Community Parks & Trails Meeting - Ciara Decker to attend the meeting on Thursday, April 12 at 10 a.m. at the City Office.
