1. This meeting of the Parks and Trails Committee of the City of Cedar Hills, having been posted throughout the City and the press notified, was called to order at 7:15 p.m.
2. Welcome New Committee Members
Jon Woozley welcomed Carl Volden and Charelle Bowman. Stephanie Martinez was also welcomed as a newly appointed member of the Parks and Trails Committee.
3. Appointment of Chair and Vice Chair
MOTION: Mike Stuy - To appoint Jon Woozley as Parks and Trails Committee Chair and Dave Told as the Parks and Trails Committee Vice-Chair. Seconded by John Stuy.

4. Approval of Minutes from the November 17, 2005, Meeting
MOTION: Dave Told - To approve the minutes from the November 17, 2005 meeting. Seconded by Mike Stuy.

5. Review/Approve the 2006 Meeting Schedule
See handout.
MOTION: Jon Woozley - To approve the 2006 meeting schedule, with meetings being held on the second Thursday of each month. Seconded by Dave Told.

6. Eagle Projects
• Trail Markers and Bonneville Shoreline Trail Decals - The Committee requested that the Public Works Technicians put on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail stickers.
• Flag Pole - This is not continuing forward.
• New Proposals - Dave Told said that he would be willing to put his information on the City’s website for contact on Eagle Scout projects.
7. Community Trails Meeting
• When is the next meeting - The next meeting is scheduled for April 13th from 10:00 - 11:00am. Dave Told will solicit a letter of support from the Community Trails group; he will send it to Konrad Hildebrandt when it has been received.
8. Parks Up-To-Date Worksheet
See handout. The committee members were encouraged to drive by the pump house and Cottage Canyon park areas. At the next meeting, the Committee would like this item on the next agenda to spend time doing further planning of these parks and what amenities they would like included.
9. Bonneville Shoreline Trail Update
This may be discussed in a future Council meeting for a budget amendment.
10. Proposal #1 Discussion (Yard of the Month)
This was tabled until the next meeting.
11. Proposal #2 Discussion (Community Service)
Spring Clean-Up was discussed. The Committee is requested to e-mail possible projects that can be done during this week.
12. Committee Assignments and Reports
A. Council Meetings Report - No additional information to report.
B. Planning Commission Meeting Report - Sign ordinance has been forwarded to the City Council. As this ordinance is implemented, it may be necessary to make changes similar to how the Fencing ordinance was modified.
C. Staff/Committee Reports - No report.
D. Assignments and Miscellaneous - There was discussion about starting the next committee meeting to go on a field trip.
13. Review/Discuss Miscellaneous Concerns
The North Utah County Recreation Center (NUCRC) Task Force has been meeting about a centralized recreation center.
14. This meeting was adjourned at 8:48 p.m. by Jon Woozley.
