1. This meeting of the Parks and Trails Committee of the City of Cedar Hills, having been posted throughout the City and the press notified, was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Stephanie Martinez.
2. Approval of Minutes from the February 21, 2007 meeting
MOTION: Stephanie Martinez - To approve the minutes from the February 21, 2007 meeting. Seconded by David Told.

3. Eagle Projects Reports
A. Frisbee Golf Verbiage - The scout gave the sign rules to the City. The City will edit the rules and have signs made. The scout will pour and post the frisbee golf posts on Saturday. Another scout is still getting money for the Doral Drive Park project ie., tables and benches. The following are the approved rules for the frisbee golf:
Frisbee Golf Course Rules
1. The object of this game is to hit each post, in order, with a Frisbee Disc, in the least number of throws.
2. Par for each hole is three throws.
3. When making a first throw, players must begin with one foot against the previous post and are permitted up to three steps before releasing the Frisbee.
4. This sign is the starting post. There are nine holes total.
5. Please use the bridges between holes 1 and 2, and 8 and 9.
6. When playing on the Frisbee Golf Course, please show courtesy to other park users.
B. Eagle Scout Project List - Roundabouts (both), edges along trail, benches along trail, clean creek, clean trail, make trail map, park strip along bayhill, entrance at pump house at golf course, educate trail users. Action Needed - Ciara Decker to type up list and give to Valerie Christensen, Public Works, to give scouts ideas and refer to David Told.
4. General Plan
A. Update current and proposed parks. Action Needed - Ciara Decker to add cottages and town homes to this.
B. Add/Update Bonneville Shoreline Trail
5. Bonneville Shoreline Trail (BOSH) Update
A. Grant Update - Permission has been received. David Bunker needs to sign documents and project can begin. Money will not be received until this happens. The grant gave the City $196,000 for the BOSH 2. The City will use $200,000 for BOSH 2. The City will budget $100,000 for BOSH 3. So far the City has spent $24,000 for BOSH 2. The City needs to get a grant of at least $100,000 for BOSH 3.
6. Yard of the Month Discussion
A. The Committee has decided to do this in 2007. One yard per quadrant in the City will be awarded per month from May to September.
7. Meeting Schedule Discussion
A. Keep meetings once per month for one hour through the end of the summer. It will be held on the second Wednesday of each month.
8. National Trails Day: June 2, 2007
A. The Committee would like to hold an event to coincide with the opening of Canyon Heights Park to promote trail day.
9. Committee Assignments and Reports
A. Council Meetings Report (Charelle Bowman) - The Murdock Trail meeting was canceled. Mayor McGee explained it is mostly a Mayor’s meeting anyway.
B. Planning Commission Meeting Report (Clifton Chandler) - Discussed what the Committee would like him to present or provide. Feedback included open communication.
C. Recreation Liaison (Stephanie Martinez) - March 24 begins the competitive soccer league of 1,100 children. March 31 begins the recreation soccer league of 2,300 children.
D. Staff/Committee Reports (Ciara Decker) - No report.
E. Assignments and Miscellaneous
