ORDINANCE NO. 10-16-2007A



AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO THE CITY OF CEDAR HILLS, UTAH, (E. JOHNSON ANNEXATION) AND ESTABLISHING THE ZONE CLASSIFICATION FOR SAID PROPERTY.


BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CEDAR HILLS, UTAH:


PART I

 

Section 1.       That certain territory as described on the attached Exhibit A and Annexation Plat, and referred to as the E. Johnson Annexation, is hereby annexed to and declared to be a part of the City of Cedar Hills, Utah.

 

Section 2.       The corporate limits of the City of Cedar Hills are hereby extended to include said described territory and said territory shall henceforth be subject to all of the ordinances and regulation of the City.


PART II


The territory annexed under Part I above is hereby classified into the RR-1-20,000 Rural Residential Zone.


PART III


This Ordinance shall take effect on its passage and posting as required by law.

A PARCEL OF LAND IN THE NORTHWEST 1/4 OF THE SOUTHWEST 1/4 OF SECTION 5, TOWNSHIP 5 SOUTH, RANGE 2 EAST, S.L.B.&M., UTAH COUNTY, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:


COMMENDING AT THE WEST 1/4 CORNER OF SAID SECTION 5; THENCE EAST 24.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE EAST 300.00 FEET ALONG THE CORPORATE BOUNDARY CEDAR HILLS 1977; THENCE S06°07'00"E 150.00 FEET; THENCE WEST 373.15 FEET TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF 4000 WEST STREET; THENCE N00°08'38"W 149.15 FEET ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY TO THE SOUTH LINE OF CORPORATE BOUNDARY CEDAR HILLS 1977; THENCE EAST 57.54 FEET ALONG SAID BOUNDARY TO THE PONT OF BEGINNING.
