Statement: The role of city officials is to listen to,
understand, and represent the interests of our residents.
As Cedar Hills grows, we make decisions with long-lasting and far-reaching
consequences. Communication between elected officials and residents helps
to ensure we make good decisions now and for the future.
I will work toward assuring outstanding public safety (fire, police,
emergency); necessary infrastructure (water, sewer, roads, etc.); and opportunities
for our residents within the guidelines of absolute integrity, financial
responsibility, and the family values that make our community strong.
We need to establish and maintain financial stability and strength as
we develop our commercial area and transition from a period of growth
to a period of stability in the coming years.
Above all, we must preserve and protect our safety, family values, quiet
atmosphere, and long-term security and strength as a city.

Statement: "Government is only as good as its people." I firmly believe this statement. We, as citizens of our city, state and nation, need to be involved in ways to perpetuate the goals, values and morals that we
hold dear.
I ran for City Council to do my part to serve the City in a manner that reflects the values of you, my neighbors. Though many believe the federal government to have more influence over their lives, I truly believe that local government issues affect Americans in more pertinent ways. I am particularly concerned with issues that surround our children, affect our beautiful mountain environment, and that concern responsibly allocating City funds and reducing our debt.
I represent every citizen in Cedar Hills. When the issues of residents come before me, I always try to put myself in their position and try to imagine how I might view the situation before I come to a decision. I take this responsibility seriously, and I hope that residents will be comfortable in contacting me when they feel inclined.
Never hesitate to contact me with your concerns.
