October 2, 2012

In celebration of October as Fire Prevention Month, the Lone Peak Fire District invites everyone to meet and greet the local firefighters at the fire station, 3925 W. Cedar Hills Drive. Every Monday night in October from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. the firemen will host an open station with tours, home safety tips, first-aid kits, and refreshments. This will be fun for the whole family. Remember that Daylight Saving Time ends Nov. 4. It’s a great time every six months to change your smoke detector batteries.
